The General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine has given ex-prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko to travel to Brussels. The visit will take place on March 23-25.

The opposition leader will attend a summit of the European People’s Party. “The investigator has considered the application and … has given permission to make a trip to Brussels”, the statement said. Previously the investigator had refused the same permission twice.

Boeing-746 has left Kyiv Boryspil Airport for Tokyo (Japan). The plane will take home Ukrainians, who have expressed a desire to leave Japan. The aircraft will also deliver 2000 blankets and medications as humanitarian assistance to the country. The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has said today that Ukraine invites 250 Japanese children to rehabilitation and treatment at international children’s center Artek.

The party leader Viktor Yuschenko has the kidney’s inflammation, and the doctors advise him to spend two or three weeks at home. Due to illness Yuschenko did not even take part in the festivities in honor of Taras Shevchenko.
